Set up by Bella Gribkova, Ph.D., a University English teacher and a British Council project leader, and starting with only two groups in 1998, “MASTERCLASS” has now become one of the leading, most well-established and popular English language centers in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia’s third biggest city (450 km east of Moscow).

"MASTERCLASS" provides a wide range of language courses (Cambridge English: Advanced; Key, Preliminary, First, Business, DELTA Module 1, TKT, IELTS, ILEC, ICFE, TOEFL iBT, GMAT, GRE) for all levels and relevant ages. A lot of our graduates who have been awarded international certificates get the benefits from studying and working abroad to improve their career prospects. For customers requiring an even greater degree of personal attention or a tailor-made programme, we offer one-to-one tuition and consultancy.

“MASTERCLASS” sets high standards in ESOL teaching due to highly experienced and well-qualified staff, small classes (maximum of 10), flexible approach to curriculum-design continuous adjustment of content and techniques to the changing needs of students, supportive and friendly atmosphere.

We are proud of the accomplishments of our 7000 graduates and about 600 students that are currently pursuing a variety of the ESOL programmes we offer, taught by 25 highly qualified and experienced teachers, holders of University degrees and Cambridge ESOL Certificates and Teaching Awards.
